Shepherd Offshore Engineering aim to minimise the cost of engine failure; reduce fuel usage and management workload whilst maximising profitability.

Our workshop facilities can offer Liner Honing to 450mm bore, this is autofeed to give the crosshatching required, Cylinder head overhauls are done using Peg or Chris Marine grinding equipment, cleaning is done in high temperature, high pressure, enclosed cleaning tanks.
We are often retained to augment ships' staff to complete various preventative or corrective maintenance work packages. |

| We have 8,000 square feet of space at our workshop in Newcastle upon Tyne. Equipped with 100 tonnes of craneage capacity and a 6 tonne forklift truck, we have the capacity to overhaul complete engines or single items. We are equipped with the following machinery: |
