Shepherd Offshore is based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on the north east coast of England with convenient links to continental Europe, Scandinavia and all primary communication networks. The Offshore Supply Base and Technology Park are 7 miles from the mouth of the river Tyne and only 3 miles from the centre of Newcastle-upon-Tyne which has good road and rail links to all major cities within the UK.

The Offshore Supply Base is primarily located on the north side of the River Tyne, encompassing the entire available quay frontage and the adjacent facility at the Offshore Technology Park.
