Shepherd Offshore is based in Walker, Newcastle-upon-Tyne on the north east coast of England, with convenient links to continental Europe, Scandinavia and all primary communication networks. The Offshore Supply Base and Technology Park are 7 miles from the mouth of the river Tyne and only 3 miles from the centre of Newcastle-upon-Tyne which has good road and rail links to all major cities within the UK.

other major cities. Shepherd Offshore is a short
taxi journey from the station. |

Take the A1(M) and A194 or the A19 north and follow signs for Jarrow and the Tyne Tunnel
Junction with A187. At roundabout take 2nd exit A187 (signposted Wallsend) then at ensuing
roundabout take the 4th exit. In 0.4 miles at roundabout take 1st exit. You will pass Hadrian
Road Metro Station (on the right). In 0.2 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd exit (signposted
Newcastle). In 0.2 miles at the roundabout forward 0.2 mile farther at roundabout take 2nd
exit. Walker East Roundabout (Junction with A186 (west). Take 1st exit A186 (signposted
Riverside Route). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Bath Street - A186. Turn left onto Malaya Drive. Turn right onto Wincomblee Road. Turn left onto Rendle Road. Turn left onto Nelson Road
From the quayside road B1600, turn right onto City Road - A186. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Walker Road - A186. Turn right onto Malaya Drive. Turn right onto Wincomblee Road. Turn left onto Rendle Road. Turn left onto Nelson Road. Arrive at Shepherd Offshore.

From the A1, take the A19 at Seaton Burn towards North Shields and the Tyne Tunnel Follow signs Wide Open B1318. Wide Open ("Travellers Rest" public house). At traffic signals forward In 0.5 mile at mini-roundabout forward. Junction with A1056. At roundabout take 1st exit A1056 (signposted Killingworth). Junction with A189. At roundabout take 4th exit A189 (signposted Newcastle). West Moor Roundabout. Take 2nd exit A188 (signposted Newcastle (East) In 0.4 mile at roundabout forward and at next two roundabout keep forward. Longbenton. At roundabout take 2nd exit In 0.8 mile at roundabout forward (signposted City Centre) 0.2 mile farther at roundabout forward. Junction with A1058. At roundabout take 3rd exit (signposted City Centre) to join A1058. Junction with A167(M). Branch left to join Motorway A167(M) (signposted The South). Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
